We’ll have scattered areas of rain and storms tonight. Some will be strong to severe with large hail and high winds the primary threat. There will also be the threat for a few tornadoes. The front will move through early Thursday with less humid air moving into the state. There will be a low risk for severe storm far southern Arkansas late Thursday afternoon. The rest of the week into Mother’s Day weekend looks nice with partly cloudy skies and low humidity. -Todd Yakoubian
